Mit 3D-gedruckten Bauteilen konnte das Unternehmen Sutrue im englischen Colchester zum Beispiel ein automatisches N\u00e4hger\u00e4t f\u00fcr die minimalinvasive Chirurgie zur Marktreife bringen.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die minimalinvasive Chirurgie f\u00fchrt zu k\u00fcrzeren Rekonvaleszenzzeiten, besseren Heilungsergebnissen und weniger Komplikationen. Doch noch gibt es nicht genug Instrumente f\u00fcr diese sehr pr\u00e4zisen Eingriffe auf engstem Raum. Sutrues minimalinvasives N\u00e4hger\u00e4t wurde speziell f\u00fcr die Schl\u00fcsselloch-Chirurgie entwickelt, f\u00fcr laparoskopische und robotergest\u00fctzte Eingriffe. Bisher gab es kein Instrument, das den f\u00fcr die minimal-invasive Chirurgie erforderlichen geringen Durchmesser von nur acht Millimetern erreicht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Idee f\u00fcr ein solches automatisches N\u00e4hger\u00e4t hatte Alex Berry, Gr\u00fcnder und technischer Leiter des bei Colchester in England ans\u00e4ssigen Unternehmens Sutrue, w\u00e4hrend er sich 2008 von einem gebrochenen Kn\u00f6chel erholte. Nach jahrelangen Forschungen und Experimenten hatte Berrys Team ein Handger\u00e4t entwickelt, das automatisch eine N\u00e4hnadel mit Faden durch das Gewebe und wieder in das Ger\u00e4t zur\u00fcckf\u00fchrt. Die Nadel dreht sich dabei auf einer festen Bahn aus dem Ger\u00e4t heraus und wieder hinein, w\u00e4hrend sie auf der dritten Achse waagerecht bleibt. Die Spitzen des Ger\u00e4ts wurden als Prototypen aus Stahl gefertigt, was einen erheblichen Zeitaufwand bedeutete und \u00c4nderungen am Design erschwerte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prototyping eines wichtigen Bauteils<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Doch eine der wichtigsten Komponenten der Spitze musste aktualisiert werden, um die Stabilit\u00e4t der Nadelf\u00fchrung zu verbessern. Eine maschinelle Bearbeitung des Teils h\u00e4tte die Erprobung des Produkts um mehrere Monate verz\u00f6gert, erhebliche Kosten verursacht und keinen Spielraum f\u00fcr verschiedene Varianten gelassen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der 3D-Druck des zu ersetzenden Teils erm\u00f6glichte es dem Team, verschiedene Versionen zu testen und in kurzem Zeitrahmen verschiedene Toleranzen zu pr\u00fcfen. Au\u00dferdem konnte das Team bei 3D-Druck auch die \u00c4sthetik ber\u00fccksichtigen und die Teile in zwei verschiedenen Farben drucken lassen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8222;Dank der Genauigkeit der Mikro 3D-Drucker von BMF konnten wir drei verschiedene Teile ausprobieren, um die ideale L\u00f6sung zu finden. Nun funktioniert unser Ger\u00e4t wie geplant, ohne die Kosten und die Zeitverz\u00f6gerung f\u00fcr eine maschinelle Bearbeitung\u201c, sagt Alex Berry, Gr\u00fcnder und technischer Leiter bei Sutrue. \u201eDie von BMF gedruckten Teile entsprechen dem Design und sind durchweg pr\u00e4zise.&#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fortschritte in der minimal-invasiven Chirurgie<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Neue Fortschritte in der Medizintechnik werden die M\u00f6glichkeiten der minimalinvasiven Chirurgie weiter vorantreiben.
