So auch im Forschungsprojekt PrEvelOp des gemein\u00fctzigen Vereins Forschung. Innovation. Realisierung (FIR) an der Rheinisch-Westf\u00e4lischen Technischen Hochschule (RWTH) Aachen und des Werkzeugmaschinenlabors WZL der RWTH Aachen. Das Unternehmen unterst\u00fctzt das Forschungsprojekt zur Identifikation von Potenzialen und Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Reduzierung der Fertigungsprogramm-Varianz bei gleichbleibender Produktvielfalt daher mit Software und Services im Wert von 30.000 Euro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Produzierende Unternehmen sehen eine Herausforderung darin, die Bandbreite ihres Fertigungsprogrammes zu beherrschen. Eine geringere Varianz erh\u00f6ht die Profitabilit\u00e4t. Als bew\u00e4hrte Mittel gelten, neben Abk\u00fcndigungen, Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Standardisierung des Fertigungsprogramms. Darum geht es in dem FIR-Forschungsprogramm an der RWTH Aachen: \u201eIm Rahmen des Projekts werden Funktionen entwickelt, die in Artikel- sowie Fertigungsprozessdaten \u00c4hnlichkeiten mithilfe von Methoden des un\u00fcberwachten Lernens (unsupervised learning) erkennen\u201c, sagt Hendrik Eisbein M.Sc., Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter der Abteilung Produktionsmanagement am WZL. \u201e\u00dcber Gruppierungen von Auftr\u00e4gen nach artikel- und prozessspezifischen Merkmalen werden Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Reduzierung der Fertigungsprogrammvarianz zur Entscheidung vorgeschlagen.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>classmate CAD zur geometrischen Analyse<\/strong><br>Die von simus systems bereitgestellte, patentierte Software classmate CAD analysiert 3D CAD-Modelle vollautomatisch. Dabei werden Formelemente wie Au\u00dfen- oder Innenkonturen, Bohrungen, Bohrungsanordnung, Fasen, Rundungen und Ausklinkungen ber\u00fccksichtigt. So entsteht ein \u201egeometrischer Fingerabdruck\u201c mit Schemazeichnungen, 2D-Vorschaubildern und 3D-Viewerformaten, die eine zielf\u00fchrende Suche nach Modellen und Bauteilen erm\u00f6glichen. Im Alltag profitieren Konstrukteure von geringerem Suchaufwand bei h\u00f6herer Trefferquote direkt in ihrem CAD-System. Im Rahmen des Forschungsprojekts werden die Ergebnisse in eine Open-Source-Bibliothek \u00fcberf\u00fchrt, die kleinen und mittelst\u00e4ndischen Unternehmen (KMU) zu Test- und \u00dcbungszwecken bereitgestellt wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Geringere Varianz des Fertigungsprogramms<\/strong><br>Der Nutzen f\u00fcr diese Zielgruppe liegt laut Forschungsprojekt darin, \u201evarianzinduzierte Treiber der Komplexit\u00e4tskosten \u2013 wie geringe Losgr\u00f6\u00dfen oder h\u00e4ufige Werkzeugwechsel \u2013 zu adressieren und das Dilemma zwischen individueller und Massenproduktion zu reduzieren. \u201eWir unterst\u00fctzen mit PrEvelOp ein Forschungsprojekt, das die Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit am Standort Deutschland st\u00e4rkt und damit letztlich allen B\u00fcrgern zugutekommt\u201c, sagt Dr. Ing.
