Juni 2024.<\/strong> Mit der von Boston Micro Fabrication (BMF) entwickelten Drucktechnologie lassen sich Mikrobauteile f\u00fcr die Elektronik in Serie fertigen. Neue Technologien und Materialien treiben den Fortschritt voran. Bei dem Hersteller Z-Axis Connector halten 3D-gedruckte Bauteile sogar den hohen Temperaturen im L\u00f6tofen stand. Der amerikanische Hersteller Z-Axis Connector konzentriert sich seit 1995 auf die Herstellung von Steckverbindern. Das Spektrum reicht von gro\u00dfvolumigen Serien f\u00fcr Konsumg\u00fcter bis zu Mikro- und Miniatur-Steckverbindern f\u00fcr die Industrie. Das Team aus Wissenschaftlern, Ingenieuren, Werkern und Managern produziert innovative und wettbewerbsf\u00e4hige Steckverbinder nach vielf\u00e4ltigen Anforderungen. Oft geht es um Produkte, die mit herk\u00f6mmlichen Mitteln nicht realisiert werden k\u00f6nnen. Eine gro\u00dfe Rolle spielt die Einhaltung enger Toleranzen, doch mit den bisher eingesetzten 3D-Druckverfahren lassen sich maximal f\u00fcnf Tausendstel Millimeter erreichen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mikropr\u00e4zision mit P\u00b5SL<\/strong><br>Ein neuer Mikropr\u00e4zisions-3D-Drucker von BMF verschiebt diese Grenze mit der Pr\u00e4zisionsmikro-Stereolithografie (P\u00b5SL) auf ein bis zwei Tausendstel Millimeter und er\u00f6ffnet neue Fertigungsm\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr kompakte, leistungsstarke Steckverbinder. Eine Herausforderung bestand f\u00fcr Z-Axis darin, dass die mit einer Leiterplatte verbundenen, elastomeren Steckverbinder einen Wiederaufschmelz-L\u00f6tofen durchlaufen, der in einem 7,5-min\u00fctigen Zyklus eine Temperatur von 237 \u00b0C erreicht. Dank der offenen Materialplattform von BMF konnte Z-Axis das Material Figure 4\u00ae HI TEMP 300-AMB von 3D Systems verwenden, das f\u00fcr Temperaturen von bis zu 300 \u00b0C ausgelegt ist. Die im P\u00b5SL-Verfahren von BMF 3D-gedruckten Teile halten den hohen Temperaturen ohne Beeintr\u00e4chtigungen stand. So kann Z-Axis die bew\u00e4hrte Fertigungstechnik auch f\u00fcr elektronische Systeme mit 3D-gedruckten Anschl\u00fcssen beibehalten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Innovation bei Steckverbindern<\/strong><br>Die Technologie von BMF erm\u00f6glichte Z-Axis den \u00dcbergang zu oberfl\u00e4chenmontierbaren Komponenten (SFC). Der Wegfall von Durchgangsl\u00f6chern ergibt h\u00f6here Fertigungseffizienz, spart Platz auf den Leiterplatten und erm\u00f6glicht kompaktere Designs. So verschiebt Z-Axis die Grenzen des Machbaren und \u00fcbertrifft die Standards der Elektronikfertigung bei Pr\u00e4zision und Innovation mit k\u00fcrzeren Lieferzeiten und geringeren Kosten.<br>Andere Kunden stellten mit der P\u00b5SL-Technologie von BMF sogar elektrostatisch ableitende Bauteile her. Im vergangenen Jahr wurde dazu das Kunstharz Formula1\u00b5 von Mechnano zertifiziert.
